He Wrote, She Wrote – a blog

Bob Mayer and Jennifer Crusie are blogging the book tour promoting their new book Don't Look Down.  I'm going to have to go to the bookstore tomorrow to see if they have it in yet.  I always have a blast reading Jennifer Crusie books.

The book cover is funny – the dust jacket is the women's cover but if you take it off it has camouflage underneath for the men.  heh.

Kagetora preview

There's a 30 page preview online at Del Rey Manga.  The cover makes it look like Kage Tora, but I guess I've been reading it wrong.  oops!

Anyway, it looks like a cute book, and the preview pages made me laugh a few times.  Like the teacher's "Just because he's a ninja, you must not bully him."  What's up with the creepy ninja monkey, though?? 

I opted against it last week because it's a Del Rey title and most of the other stuff that came out was from Viz.  Del Rey is more expensive than other manga so I tend not to be as impulsive when buying their books.  Hey, three bucks is three bucks.  But I guess I should have bought it – it looks worth it.
