Movies
Digimon Movie #3 – I can see why they blended the first three movies to make one for the US version.  This was kind of boring, and was NOT helped by the gentle plinking music they decided on for the fight scenes.
Nanny McPhee (Colin Firth!)
Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit
Corpse Bride
Kamikaze Girls
Rent
Otakus in Love – this is just… weird.  I was trying to describe it to someone at work and it’s very hard to properly convey the wackiness.  Two otakus: He creates manga from rocks (as in: get box, fill it with painted rocks, call it manga), She is a cosplay freak and doujinshi artist.  He’s fighting to keep his dream of becoming an original, world famous artist while she’s trying to get him into cosplay.  There’s a lot of dressing up, manga and vomiting.  I got a mini-thrill from a cosplay party at the end when I recognized a party goer as Sanzo from SaiyukiHere’s a review that sums it up pretty well.

An unfortunate side effect of working in the movie department of a store (even if it’s only part time) is having to play movies you really like over and over and over until you’re sick of them.  We played Wallace and Gromit TEN times on one Saturday alone…

And I actually read some pretty good books this month!  Yay!  Could the curse finally be broken?  I weeded my book closet the other night and was rediscovering some old friends that I might spend some time in March rereading.
